New Year’s Eve events for Clarksville-Montgomery County

Happy New YearClarksville, TN – Another year has come and gone and it’s time to usher in 2014. There are several New Year’s Eve events happening in Clarksville. Begin this New Year in a very special way with your friends, family and loved ones. Have a safe and Happy New Year.

Remember, the Clarksville Transit System will be offering Safe Rides for New Year’s Eve.

Some of the local New Year’s Eve happenings are: Indoor Aquatic Center’s New Year’s Eve Splash, New Year’s Eve party at Fort Campbell’s The Zone, Hooper Bowling Center, and the Calico Ball.

New Year’s Eve Party at The Zone

Join The Zone to welcome 2014 with a beach party and high-energy performance by Conch Republic.

This “band of pirates” plays music that includes a blend of congas, steel drums, other percussion, vocals, ukulele and acoustic guitar – which instantly takes you down to the islands!

The party starts at 8:30pm and lasts until 2:00am.

Calico Ball Fundraiser

On New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31st, the Calico Ball, a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Friends of the Shelter will be held at Clarksville’s Customs House Museum from 8:00pm until 2:00am.

Tickets are $50.00 each or $85.00 a couple.

New Year’s at Hooper Bowling Center

Plan now to join Hooper Bowling Center for a Family friendly New Year’s Eve Party. On December 31st, starting at 8:00pm and ending at 1:00am, Hooper will be ringing in 2014 with bowling, pizza, party favors and sparking juice.

Tickets purchased are $89.95.

Indoor Aquatic Center’s New Year’s Eve Splash

Bring in the New Year in a splashing way! Visit the Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence this New Year’s Eve for the 3rd annual New Year’s Eve Splash!

The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a New Year’s Eve pool party from 8:30pm to 12:30am on Monday, December 31st.

Clarksville Transit System offers Safe Rides for New Year’s Eve

“Operation Safe Ride” is a free service open to anyone who is too impaired to drive home. People who live within the Clarksville city limits can call for a ride between the hours of 11:00pm and 4:00am for a ride home.

Anyone who cannot, or should not, drive home on New Year’s Eve can call 931.553.2429 to request a ride.
