Fort Campbell’s Blanchfield Army Community Hospital delivers First Baby of 2014 in the Clarksville area

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) is proud to announce the first baby born in 2014 throughout the Clarksville, Tennessee area, Maya Vasquez.

Maya is not only the first baby of the new year, but also the first child of Leticia Vasquez and her husband Louis.

Louis is a staff sergeant assigned to Company B, 563rd Aviation Support Battalion, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade of Fort Campbell, KY and is about to deploy to Afghanistan.

Baby Maya weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long at birth.
