Nashville, TN – Gina Head, mother to Tyler Jackson Head, has provided me information regarding the 2nd. Annual Tyler Jackson Head Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk scheduled for February 1st, 2014. The event will be held at Travis Price Park in Springfield, TN. Registration begins at 8:00am and the run/walk begins at 9:00am.
This event is to honor the memory of Tyler J. Head who was killed February 3rd, 2012 while driving to class in Clarksville at Austin Peay State University.
The entry fee is $10.00 per runner/walker and the benefits will go to support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and the Tyler J. Head APSU scholarship fund for Agriculture students.
Tyler lived for the last 7 years of his young life with a diagnosis of Colitis that was later changed to Crohn’s.
Finding a cure for Crohn’s & Colitis and attaining a degree in Agriculture from APSU were very important to Tyler and were important to his family and friends and they want to continue to honor Tyler by contributing to these two worthwhile causes. Please consider participating in this untimed fun 5K on February 1st.
