Austin Peay State University’s 2003-04 Basketball Governors to be honored Saturday, February 15th

Clarksville, TN – Marking the 10th anniversary of a crowning achievement, Austin Peay State University’s Basketball Reunion will honor the 2003-04 championship Governors, Saturday.

The 16-0 Ohio Valley Conference title team will be the focus of the 10:00am, Saturday, February 15th, Basketball Reunion brunch in the Dunn Center’s front lobby—that team is the only in OVC history to attain a 16-0 mark.

All basketball alums, dating back to the Little Red Barn days, are invited to attend the brunch as well as the noon, Lady Govs shoot-around and the 2:00pm, Govs shoot-around as the respective teams prepare to face SIU Edwardsville in a women/men’s doubleheader.

The day’s activities are being sponsored by APSU Alumni and APSU Athletics.

The Lady Govs will play the Cougars, 5:15pm, Saturday with all basketball alums—men and women—being honored after the game in a reception on the Dunn Center’s third level.

The Governors’ game with the Cougars will tipoff at 7:30pm. The 2003-04 Govs team will be celebrated at halftime of that contest.

Following the men’s contest, a basketball alumni reception will be held at The Gilroy, located at 140 University Avenue.
