Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Inclement Weather Make-up Plan

Spring Break will not be used to makeup days

Clarksville-Montgomery County School System - CMCSSMontgomery County, TN – Consistent with the Inclement Weather Make-up Plan and taking into consideration lost instructional time for students with their teachers, the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will be making up one of the five days missed by adding an extra 30 minutes on to the day, beginning April 7th and ending April 24th,  prior to high stakes assessments.

This would give students’ families time to prepare for schedule changes. It requires 13 days of an added 30 minutes to make up one school day.

Spring Break (March 24th-28th) and April 18th will not be used as makeup days.

While we regret students have had to miss so many days, this has been an unusual and extreme winter as evidenced across the country. As part of its inclement weather makeup plan, the Board already forgave the three days missed earlier this school year and students made up the fourth day missed on Presidents Day.

A plan will be developed and communicated for the other days (4) missed and any additional inclement weather days that may be missed as we move through this month.
