Clarksville, TN – Another weekend, another schedule change thanks to Mother Nature as Austin Peay State University and Murray State have agreed to modify their upcoming Ohio Valley Conference baseball series.
The series will continue with a 1:00pm, Sunday matchup before the teams conclude the series with a 2:00pm, Monday contest. All three games will be broadcast by the Governors Sports Network.
The OVC updated its guidance regarding conference series to allow teams to play a Saturday-Monday series if weather necessitated, if notice was given prior visiting team traveling to the host site.
This weekend will be the Govs’ first usage of the new policy while Murray State will experience a Saturday-Monday series for the second time in 2014 after its OVC-opening series was shifted.
