Nashville Sounds Game Rained Out Monday Night

 

Make-Up Game Scheduled For May 21st at 6:05pm

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – Mother Nature got the best of Monday night’s game at Greer Stadium, which was scheduled to be the final game of a four-game series between the Nashville Sounds (5-6) and the Omaha Storm Chasers (5-6).

The outing has been rescheduled as a part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, May 21st. The first of the two seven-inning games will begin at 6:05pm.

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from April 11th-12th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols April 11th and 12th, 2014 partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 184 vehicles stopped and 166 individuals charged.

APSU Men’s Basketball head coach Dave Loos inducted into Christian Brothers Athletics Hall of Fame

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsMemphis, TN – Austin Peay State University head basketball coach Dave Loos was inducted into the Christian Brothers Athletics Hall of Fame, Saturday, in a ceremony at the University’s Alfonso Dining Hall.

APSU’s longtime head coach was one of eight former great CBU athletics figures to be honored plus two teams of distinction.

Loos began his college coaching career at CBU, as a basketball assistant coach and head baseball coach in overseeing both the basketball and baseball teams for four years each.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Stonemeadow Road Water Outage Scheduled

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled a water outage on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014, at 8:00am on Stonemeadow Road to repair a fire hydrant. The outage will be in effect until approximately 12:00pm when the work is anticipated to be finished.

Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the repair work. The road will be passable.

This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.

The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.
