Clarksville’s Rivers and Spires kicks off tonight with Slippery When Wet The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute

Rivers and Spires FestivalClarksville, TN – The 2014 Rivers and Spires Festival kicks off tonight, April 24th in Downtown Clarksville Tennessee. Everything gets started at 5:00pm and runs through 10:00pm.

Danciel kicks things off at 5:00pm on the Strawberry Alley Stage. Danciel infuses the air with toe-tapping, catchy music to keep you smiling and enjoying the moment. It’s about positivity and good times.

Eight bands will compete at this year’s Rivers and Spires Festival Last Band Standing starting at 6:00pm on the Strawberry Alley Stage.

Rubiks Groove rocks the Public Square Stage starting at 6:30pm. If you love 80’s music, then this is the band for you. From Prince and Humpty to Bon Jovi and The Cure, Rubiks Groove will rock the stage. This energetic band will have you dancing and partying 80’s style.

Closing out Rivers and Spires Thursday night is the Slippery When Wet The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute on the Public Square Stage at 8:30pm.

Slippery When Wet The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute has taken exact live arrangements from the real Bon Jovi in their 2000’s Crush tour, 2002’s Bounce tour, 2005’s Have a Nice Day tour, 2008’s Lost Highway tour and 2010’s The Circle tour to form what Jason refers to as an Arena Club Show.

The entire career of Bon Jovi spans 25+ years and over 130 million albums sold worldwide. Another milestone that the band has achieved is that they have tracked 14 Billboard top ten singles of which 8 of those went straight to number 1.

Slippery When Wet has played to many packed houses throughout the Southeast and has quickly become the top draw at many of their regularly scheduled clubs. The bands shows are the most attended and highest grossing of any Bon Jovi Tribute in the country. In 2007 the band was officially authorized by Bon Jovi to perform their highly entertaining show.

Their drive, musical ability, showmanship and dedication to duplicating the Bon Jovi live experience simply cannot be outdone.

Downtown Clarksville during the Annual Rivers and Spires FestivalThe 12th annual Rivers and Spires Festival will be held April 24th-26th, 2014 in Historic Downtown Clarksville. This event has five stages of entertainment with over 100 entertainers performing all three days. From children’s activities, arts & crafts, car shows, military exhibits, shopping and so much more this is truly an event for the whole family.
