Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds continue their #LastCheerAtGreer with the team’s second homestand of the year at Greer Stadium, which begins Monday, April 28th.

The eight-game homestand welcomes the New Orleans Zephyrs (Miami Marlins affiliate) to Nashville for four games spanning April 28th-May 1st and the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs affiliate) from May 2nd-5th.

Highlighting the homestand’s worth of promotions will be a Friday Fireworks show, NEWS 2 Postgame Fireworks on Saturday, a Team Photo Giveaway presented by Pandora Jewelry, Throwback Thursday presented by The Tennessean, a Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHT and the first Sounds CARE Jersey Night presented by The Bobby Bones Show.

Monday, April 28th

Nashville vs. New Orleans Zephyrs
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

The homestand kicks off with SeatGeek.com Dollar Monday, when fans can receive a $1.00 ticket offer with the purchase of a regularly priced ticket by showing their SeatGeek.com mobile app at the box office. In addition, concessions will sell hot dogs for just $1 apiece courtesy of SeatGeat.com.

Tuesday, April 29th

Nashville Sounds vs. New Orleans Zephyrs

Twice Daily and the Nashville Sounds are partnering up each Tuesday this season to provide fans a special two-for-one ticket offer. On game day, bring an in-store receipt from Daily’s or Twice Daily to the Advance Financial Box Office to receive the offer.

Tuesday morning’s game marks the second of three Education Day games of the season. For Education Day, students in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in a pregame parade with Ozzie and receive an Education Day workbook presented by the Nashville Sounds Foundation.

Wednesday, April 30th

Nashville Sounds vs. New Orleans Zephyrs
7:05pm (Gates Open at 9:35am)

The honorable Mayor Karl Dean will be joining the Sounds at Greer Stadium to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Dean was an integral part in helping the Sounds find their new home in North Nashville: First Tennessee Park, which is scheduled to open in April 2015.

Great Clips #WebWednesdays reward fans that follow the Sounds on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with special offers. Fans can also receive $5.00 off a general admission ticket by presenting a Great Clips receipt at the box office (up to two per receipt).

Thursday, May 1st

Nashville Sounds vs. New Orleans Zephyrs
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

The Sounds play the series finale with New Orleans on Throwback Thursday, presented by The Tennessean. Nashville will wear blue V-neck 1980s-style uniforms every Thursday home game this season, while fans can enjoy throwback $2.00 prices on beer, soda, hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos.

College students can receive one $5.00 General Admission ticket offer with a valid college ID, while all fans can receive one $5.00 General Admission ticket offer with the Throwback Thursday coupon printed in Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday editions of The Tennessean.

Fans entering the ballpark will be greeted by music from newcomer Austin Webb, as a part of the 2014 Nashville Sounds Concert Series, presented by BIG98 and 107.5 The River. The Sounds will partner with C2 Media Relations and SIR to provide live music at Greer Stadium for every Thursday, Friday and Saturday home game.

Friday, May 2nd

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
7:05pm (Gates Open at 5:35pm)

The Sounds continue the homestand with Friday’s 7:05 series opener against the Iowa Cubs. Gates will open early for first of this summer’s six Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS ®. A pregame concert performance by Christian group 1 Girl Nation will take place on the plaza stage near the first-base entrance approximately one hour before first pitch. The night will conclude with an impressive Friday fireworks display.

Saturday, May 3rd

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
6:35pm (Gates Open at 5:35pm)

The first 2,000 fans to the game Saturday will receive a 2014 Team Photo courtesy of Pandora Jewelry.

A spectacular fireworks show will follow the game, presented by Nashville’s NEWS 2.

During the game, the Sounds will wear special black and blue pinstripe Sounds CARE jerseys, presented by The Bobby Bones Show. These specialty jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via silent auction with all proceeds benefiting City of Hope. Winning bidders will get to take the field after the game, meet their player, and get their jersey of their player’s back.

Sunday, May 4th

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
2:05pm (Gates Open at 1:05pm)

Every home Sunday game at Greer this season will be a Military Sunday presented by Piedmont Natural Gas and Tennessee 811. The Sounds will wear camouflage jerseys, while servicemen/women, veterans, and their families receive $5.00 off reserved or general admission tickets with a valid Military ID; limit 5 discounted tickets per ID.

Also taking place each Sunday will be Faith and Family Sundays, where fans can receive $5.00 off tickets by presenting a church or community bulletin at the Sounds Advance Financial Box Office; limit eight discounted tickets per bulletin.

Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club, presented by The Tennessean, continues its season Sunday. Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club is a program for children of all ages, offering unique opportunities and loads of fun every Sunday home game at the ballpark. Memberships are $15.00 and include a t-shirt, water bottle, draw-string bag and Sounds tickets.

Sunday’s Fit and Fun Club activity will be Youth Circuit Blast with Ozzie. Fit and Fun Club members will use a variety of equipment and body weight to help build strength in all areas of the body. No choreography, just a fun workout!

Monday, May 5th

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
12:05pm (Gates Open at 11:05am)

In addition, concessions will sell hot dogs for just $1.00 apiece courtesy of SeatGeat.com.

Monday also marks the Sounds special noon game Cinco de Mayo Celebration, featuring $1.00 hot dogs, $3.00 margaritas from Sauza Tequila, $3.00 Nachos, and $3.00 beer from Miller High Life, Fat Bottom Brewing, and Tennessee Brew Works. General admission tickets will be $5.00 on Monday, courtesy of the Nashville Scene and Lightning100.

Following the homestand, Nashville will begin an eight-game road trip, with the first leg featuring a four-game series against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Colorado Rockies affiliate). Nashville then travels to Iowa to take on the I-Cubs (Chicago Cubs affiliate) in a four-game set. The Sounds will begin their third homestand on Thursday, May 15th, when they host the Oklahoma City RedHawks (Houston Astros affiliate) and the Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals affiliate).

The team is asking fans to help say farewell to the venue it has called home for 37 years by coming to Sounds games this summer and using the hashtag #LastCheerAtGreer in social media.
