The series is aired to 100 million homes in the USA and is used to select TEAM USA that will travel to London, England to fight the best of 12 teams from around the world; tentatively scheduled for November 2014.

Fighters Source is the Worlds largest Amateur MMA Organization.

The Nashville SSF Renegades went 6-1 and beat what was considered the favorite team to win the series. Odds makers had SSF at only a 15-35% change of winning any of the fights against the Syracuse Gladius Team which was made up of D1 and New York state wrestling champions and several MMA title holders from New York.

The Gladius head coach was UFC fighter Jon Jones trainer for years and has trained several UFC and Bellator fighters.

SSF with a history of heading into events as underdogs even while being selected MMA Gym of the Year by several sources pulled off stunning wins this past weekend in Syracuse.

SSF owner, Ron Dayley, and head coach, Mike Merriman, like the underdog status. According to Mr. Dayley, “SSF is the hidden gem of the MMA world.”

The Nashville SSF Renegades are now favored to win the Regional tournament in Fresno, CA on June 14th and move on to the Nationals in New York City.

The SSF fighters to advance are Adrien Thomas (1 lbs), Charles Costello (1 lbs), Kegan Gennrich ( 170), Dekaire Sanders ( 185), Dashawn Boatwright (205) and Andrea Lee ( 125 female). From there if things go well they will be representing the USA in London in late 2014.
