Tennessee Department of Childrens ServicesNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Children’s Services Commissioner Jim Henry has asked State Representative Joe Pitts to be one of three legislators to serve on the Middle Tennessee Regional Three Branches Institute.

“It is an honor to be asked to serve on the regional institute by Commissioner Henry,” said Pitts. “I look forward to being a part of the solution to the challenges faced by the Department of Children’s Services. Working in collaboration with our juvenile justice system and the other agencies serving our state’s children and families, will give me insight I can share with my constituents and use to craft better public policy.”

Meetings of the Three Branches Institute will be held quarterly.
