Tennessee TitansTaylor LewanNashville, TN – With the 11th selection of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans take Michigan Offensive Tackle Taylor Lewan.

In his Senior year, he was selected First-Team All-American by Sporting News, Second-Team All-American by Walter Camp, Associated Press, CBSSports.com and SI.com. He was named Big Ten Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year.

The 6-foot-7, 309-pound Lewan is widely considered to be an experienced, finesse left tackle with good agility and length. He is tough, durable and plays with intensity.

In the NFL Combine, Lewan ran a 4.87 second 40 yard dash, had a 30.5 inch vertical jump, 117.0 inch broad jump and ran the 3 cone drill in 7.39 seconds.

Lewan is the first offensive tackle to be drafted by Tennessee since taking Byron Stingily in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft. He is the first tackle taken by the franchise in the first round of the draft since Brad Hopkins was taken in the 13th round by the Houston Oilers in 1993.

The Titans signed Michael Oher as a free agent this offseason to play right tackle. Left tackle Michael Roos turns 32 this year, so Lewan adds depth at the position and has the ability to be an immediate starter.
