Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency offers assistance to low income citizens

Clarksville Montgomery County Community Action AgencyClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Montgomery County Community Action Agency is still taking applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

Please pick up an application at Community Action Agency which is located at 150 Lafayette Road or download an application at www.cmccaa.com .

Their program runs each year from October 1st – September 30th and they still have funds available. Approved applications can receive up to $600.00 credit toward their propane, natural gas or electric bill.

Applicants must show proof of all household income and social security cards for everyone in the household and have a current energy bill.

The Clarksville Montgomery County Community Action Agency will also have a commodity distribution on June 27th, 2014 from 8:30am to noon.

The distribution will be at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church’s Family Life Center located at 1410 Golf Club Lane. No one is permitted on the premises before 7:30am.
