Campbell Crossing receives Kentucky Governor’s Safety and Health Award

Campbell CrossingNashville, TN – Campbell Crossing, the privatized military family housing community on Fort Campbell, is pleased to announce that it has been named a recipient of the 2013-2014 Kentucky Governor’s Safety and Health Award.

To be eligible for the award, a company must be free of any serious safety or health violations for a minimum period of 24 months. Campbell Crossing qualified for the award during the period of August 31st, 20th through May 1st, 2014.

With Campbell Crossing’s commitment to safety, they have surpassed this time period, leading them to being award the Kentucky Governors Safety and Health Award.

Since its inception in December 2003, Campbell Crossing’s employees have worked more than 1,338 days and logged over 1,752,332 work hours without experiencing a lost-time injury incident. The end result is an environment where safety is the number one priority and extensive measures are taken to reach and maintain this commitment. Campbell Crossing’s commitment to their employees is to ensure they are able to return home every night to their family.

“Safety is everyone’s responsibility here at Campbell Crossing, and to be recognized for this achievement, every individual employee proved they are the leaders in safety,” said Brian Egbert, project EH&S manager for Campbell Crossing.  “Safety has always been and continues to be our top priority and we are proud of this accomplishment.

Campbell Crossing received the Kentucky Governor’s Safety and Health Award at the 30th Annual Governor’s Safety and Health Conference & Exposition held in Louisville, KY on May 8th.
