Clarksville Christian School Holds Inaugural Commencement Ceremony

Clarksville Christian SchoolClarksville, TN – Friday, May 23rd, 2014 marked yet another landmark day in the history of Clarksville Christian School, as the school held its first commencement ceremony inside the auditorium of the Hilldale Church of Christ.

Landon Lee Darnell had the distinct honor of being the first graduating senior of CCS. Landon was recognized as a pioneer who has blazed the trail for others to follow, and was encouraged to use his talents to continue to be a pioneer for good and noble things.

When asked to share some thoughts recently about CCS, Landon had this to say: “Being at a private Christian school has many academic advantages. I know that ever since I’ve attended CCS I’ve grown, not only as a student, but also as a Christian. I would not be who I am today if it wasn’t for this school. By being a part of CCS, you may not have a plethora of friends, but the friends you do have are one of a kind. Clarksville Christian is not just a school-it’s a Christian family teaching each other about God.”

Landon will continue his formal education at Austin Peay State University in the fall.
