Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds continue their #LastCheerAtGreer with the team’s fourth homestand of the year at Greer Stadium, which begins this Tuesday, May 27th.

The eight-game homestand welcomes the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Colorado Rockies affiliate) to Nashville for four games spanning May 27th-30th and the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs affiliate) from May 31st-June 3rd.

Highlighting the homestand’s worth of promotions will be Throwback Thursday presented by The Tennessean, Friday Fireworks, Saturday NEWS 2 Saturday Fireworks, Sounds CARE Jersey Night, a Kids Jersey Giveaway presented by McDonald’s, another Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHT and Deaf and Hard of Hearing Night presented by Beltone.

Tuesday, May 27th

Nashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

The Sounds open their homestand against Colorado Springs on Twice Daily 2-for-1 Tuesday. The Nashville Sounds and Twice Daily are partnering up every Tuesday this season to provide fans a special two-for-one ticket offer. On game day, bring an in-store receipt from Daily’s or Twice Daily to the Advance Financial Box Office to receive the offer.

National Christian recording artist Karyn Williams and the Nashville Sounds will celebrate Adoption and National Foster Care Month with ‘Safe at Home’. The pregame concert by Williams will begin at 6:05pm alongside games and resources for adoptive and foster care families.

Wednesday, May 28th

Nashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox

Great Clips #WebWednesdays reward fans that follow the Sounds on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with special offers. Fans can also receive $5.00 off a general admission ticket by presenting a Great Clips receipt at the box office (up to two per receipt).

Thursday, May 29th

Nashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

Nashville will wear blue V-neck 1980s-style uniforms every Thursday home game this season, as a part of Throwback Thursdays presented by The Tennessean. Fans attending can enjoy throwback $2.00 prices on beer, soda, hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos.

College students can receive one $5.00 General Admission ticket offer with a valid college ID, while all fans can receive one $5.00 General Admission ticket offer with the Throwback Thursday coupon printed in Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday editions of The Tennessean.

Prior to the game, multiple players will be visiting the VA Hospital at Vanderbilt to visit and take photos with veterans at the hospital.

Friday, May 30th

Nashville Sounds vs. Colorado Springs Sky Sox
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

The Sounds wrap their series with the Sky Sox on Friday, which marks the team’s second-annual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Night presented by Beltone. The first 1,000 fans will receive a black tote bag featuring the ASL Alphabet and two fans in need will receive a pair of First 17 63DW hearing aids courtesy of Beltone. An ASL interpreter will be present at the game courtesy of Bridges.

The night will conclude with an impressive Friday fireworks display.

During the game, fans can receive free haircuts from Great Clips on the Family Leisure Deck, in the first night of Great Clips Charity Cuts.

Saturday, May 31st

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
6:35pm (Gates Open at 5:05pm)

The team welcomes the Iowa Cubs to town for a four-game series beginning Saturday. The first 1,000 kids to the game will receive a Youth Jersey, modeled after the Sounds’ gray road uniforms, courtesy of McDonald’s.

Gates will open early for the second of this summer’s six Trevecca Nazarene University FAITH NIGHTS ®. A pregame concert performance by LifePoint Church of Smyrna will take place on the plaza stage near the first-base entrance approximately one hour before first pitch.

During the game, the Sounds will wear special cyan and yellow Sounds CARE jerseys, presented by United Way. These specialty jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via silent auction with all proceeds benefitting United Way. Winning bidders will get to take the field after the game, meet their player, and get their jersey of their player’s back.

A spectacular fireworks show will follow the game, presented by Nashville’s NEWS 2.

Sunday, June 1st

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
2:05pm (Gates Open at 1:05pm)

Every home Sunday game at Greer this season will be a Military Sunday presented by Piedmont Natural Gas and Tennessee 811. The Sounds will wear camouflage jerseys, while servicemen/women, veterans, and their families receive $5.00 off reserved or general admission tickets with a valid Military ID; limit 5 discounted tickets per ID.

Also taking place each Sunday will be Faith and Family Sundays, where fans can receive $5.00 off tickets by presenting a church or community bulletin at the Sounds Advance Financial Box Office; limit eight discounted tickets per bulletin.

Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club, presented by The Tennessean, continues its season Sunday. Ozzie’s Fit and Fun Club is a program for children of all ages, offering unique opportunities and loads of fun every Sunday home game at the ballpark. Memberships are $15.00 and include a t-shirt, water bottle, draw-string bag and Sounds tickets.

Monday, June 2nd

SeatGeek.com Dollar Monday provides fans a $1.00 ticket offer with the purchase of a regularly priced ticket by showing their SeatGeek.com mobile app at the box office. In addition, concessions will sell hot dogs for just $1.00 apiece courtesy of SeatGeat.com.

Tuesday, June 3rd

The eight-game homestand concludes as it began, on Twice Daily 2-for-1 Tuesday. Remember to bring an in-store receipt from Daily’s or Twice Daily to the Advance Financial Box Office to receive the Buy-One-Get-One offer.

Following the league-wide off-day Wednesday, Nashville will take a road trip to Memphis to begin a four-game series with the Redbirds (Cardinals affiliate) on Thursday. The Sounds will then return to Nashville and begin their fifth homestand on Monday, June 9th, when they host the Reno Aces (Diamondbacks affiliate) and the Tacoma Rainiers (Mariners affiliate).

The team is asking fans to help say farewell to the venue it has called home for 37 years by coming to Sounds games this summer and using the hashtag #LastCheerAtGreer in social media.
