She was an All-District 13 selection and named to the Class-A All-Tournament Team.

“Savannah is a tough, versatile player who will be a great addition to this 2014 class as well as our overall team,” said Daniels. “As a coach you always want players that want to be in your program and Savannah is a player that had other options but her heart was with Austin Peay and that in itself speaks volumes.”

As a junior, Foister averaged 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Patriots.

Foister becomes the fifth member of the women basketball team’s 2014-15 recruiting class. Forward/center Sydney Gooch of Franklin, KY, signed a letter of intent during the spring signing period. Center Brianne Alexander, of Smyrna; guard Falon Baker, of Portland; and guard Madison Rich, of Bee Spring, KY, each were members of the fall signing class.
