Zachery Huff of Dickson County Indicted in TBI Case, Accused of Filing False Report

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has obtained an indictment for a Dickson County man accused of filing a false report.

At the request of 23rd District Attorney General Dan Alsobrooks, TBI Special Agents began investigating Zachery Craig Huff on September 4th, 2013.

During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that Huff told authorities about a traffic stop and search, allegedly conducted by a Drug Task Force Agent in late January or early February of 2013.

Huff stated the Agent found a small amount of marijuana on his person and further alleged the Agent took approximately $2,500 in cash from him.

Investigators could not substantiate any part of Huff’s narrative.

In December 2013, the Dickson County Grand Jury returned an indictment for Huff, charging the 22-year-old with one count of False Report to an Officer.

Today, upon his release from the Bedford County Jail on unrelated charges, Huff was booked into the Dickson County Jail, where, at the time of this release, he was being held on $20,000 bond.
