Junior Auxiliary of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – Are you looking to get involved in the community while making new friends and connections? Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville is looking for women for the upcoming 2014-15 Provisional Class.

To be eligible for membership in JA of Clarksville, women must be at least 21-years-old and with a residency in Montgomery County for 9 months or longer. Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville is an organization of women who render charitable services to the children in the Clarksville-Montgomery County community.

This is accomplished through a variety of service projects throughout the year that focus on helping those in need, as well as providing the basic necessities of life to children in the community.

Each December, Junior Auxiliary hosts “Gingerbread” where local children and families in need are given Christmas dinner baskets and gifts to be opened on Christmas morning. Twice each school year, “Healthy Kids Kits,” containing necessary hygiene items, are distributed to approximately 100 children in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

Junior Auxiliary also joins with the Department of Children’s Services to host an Easter Egg Hunt for local children in the spring, and JA members also participate in the Back to School Bash which provides children with school supplies at the start of each school year. To raise funds for these service projects, Junior Auxiliary hosts the annual wine tasting event, Cheers for Charity.
