Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting July 25th, 2014

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOTNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Sunday July 27th, 2014, from 5:00am until 9:00am, there will be a shoulder closure on I-24 at Mile Marker 11.0 in order to perform overhead utility repair.

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Friday, July 25th through Wednesday July 30th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

On Friday, July 25th through Wednesday July 30th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

On Friday, July 24th through Wednesday July 30th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave set barrier rail and pavement marking installation. One lane will remain open in each direction.

From Now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

On Monday July 28th through Wednesday July 30th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, there will be lane closures on I-65 northbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, at the Mansker Creek, East Cedar Street and Long Hollow bridges, so that milling of wedges can be done.

On Friday July 25th, 8:00pm through Monday July 28th, 6:00am, there will be one lane closed on I-65 northbound in order to perform bridge repairs. Two lanes will remain open at the CSX and Rivergate Bridges. One lane will remain open at the Mansker Creek, East Cedar Street, and Long Hollow Pike Bridges.

Humphreys  County

Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

On Friday July 25th and Sunday July 27th through Wednesday July 30th, from 8:00pm-6:00am, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling and paving operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

TDOT Bridge Repair: Davidson County

On Tuesday July 29th, from 8:00pm-4:00am, the two right lanes of I-40 westbound will be closed, between MM 206 and MM 204, for bridge repair.  One lane and the exit ramp to 46th Avenue will remain open.
