“This was an amazing trip. I has such a great time shopping, trying new foods, and learning about New Orleans” commented one of the participants.

“This is my 3rd LEAP summer trip as a chaperon and like the rest, I’ve been touched by the impact that it has on the youth. The history that the youth learn is one thing, but the various break out mentoring sessions throughout the trip seem to have left a positive impression on the students” expressed mentor Toni Jenkins

Some of the businesses and organizations that were instrumental in either making financial or in kind contributions to this trip were Clarksville Rotary, Daymar Institute, Leap of Faith Ministries, JoeShakeenab.com, the Marriott, Hertz, Keller Williams Realty, Veterans United Home Loan, and Planters Bank. There were also many individuals who sponsored students to be able to participate in this trip.

Planning is already underway for the next youth educational excursion to New York scheduled for the summer of 2015. For more information call 931-561-4204 or visit http://leaporg.net/programs/annual-field-trip/
