Fort Campbell’s Campbell Crossing to Host National Night Out Event on August 5th

Campbell CrossingNashville, TN – Campbell Crossing, Lend Lease’s privatized military housing community located on Fort Campbell, will host its annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5th from 4:00pm-7:00pm.

This nationwide celebration is geared toward heightening crime prevention awareness and strengthening the neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships while sending a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are fighting back.

You don’t want to miss this event!

Free to all Campbell Crossing residents, National Night Out will provide families the opportunity to meet their neighbors and enjoy an afternoon of activities.

Focused on crime awareness and prevention, Campbell Crossing has partnered with the Fort Campbell Police Department and many other public organizations to create a fun and educational event for the entire family.

There will be demonstrations by K9 units, free child identification registration, child safety seat inspection, Hopkinsville Motorcycle Cops, SWAT vehicle and personnel, and so much more! We will also have free food, inflatable obstacle courses, face painting, photo booh and a game truck. There will be activities for all ages, including teens and adults.

New this year, we will have a Bubble Ball game where organized teams will get to play a unique game of soccer. Be sure to sign up at our event, and some age restrictions do apply.

Don’t forget to stop by our SYNERGY booth at this year’s event.SYNERGY is an initiative designed to provide Campbell Crossing families an understanding of the impacts of energy usage and consumption, as well as techniques and methods that help us reduce total energy consumption in our everyday lives. Bring your kids by our booth to learn how they can join the SYNERGY Troops and make a pledge to become more sustainable today!

SYNERGY will also kick off its newest partnership with Teracycle, a nationwide recycling program. We will be collecting baby food pouches and personal care and beauty product packaging at the event registration table, and your family will be entered for a chance to win a $100.00 gift card!
