Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, August 21st, more than 830 incoming freshmen will arrive at Austin Peay State University to move into some of the campus’ residence halls. For many, it’ll be an emotional day as they begin a new phase of their lives.
To make this transition easier, these individuals will be greeted by APSU and community volunteers, who will assist them with any questions they might have and help them carry boxes and suitcases up to their new homes.
For the second year, some of these freshmen will unpack their belongings in new rooms inside Martha Dickerson Eriksson Hall. That residence hall is one of the three buildings that make up the Governors Terrace Residence Complex, which opened last year.
On Friday, August 22nd, APSU’s upperclassmen will move into the residence halls. The fall academic semester begins on Saturday, August 23rd, with some graduate and online classes. Most traditional undergraduate classes will begin on Monday, August 25th.
