Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s DreamChasers program offers brand new locations this Fall

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The DreamChasers program from Clarksville Parks and Recreation is back for another year of mentoring and fun for middle school and high school-aged members of the community.

The program has expanded from three locations to five locations!

Clarksville Parks and Recreation's DreamChasers program

This year, teens can enjoy free afterschool programming at Summit Heights on Mondays at 3:30pm, the Kleeman Community Center on Tuesdays at 3:30pm, the Burt-Cobb Comunity Center on Wednesdays at 4:30pm, the Crow Community Center on Thursdays at 3:30pm, and at Lincoln Homes on Fridays at 3:30pm.

Dream Chasers is focused on reaching youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere.

Teens can enjoy free food at each location courtesy of Mama’s Southern Soul Food & Catering and talk about their lives with mentors who can provide positive influences.

Due to the sensitive nature of the topics covered in this program, a parental consent form must be signed in order to participate. Dream Chasers features not only small group discussion and guidance with the Dream Chasers mentors, but also presentations by guest speakers, and sporting events as well.

DreamChasers is sponsored by the L.E.A.P. Organization, Clarksville Buffalo Soldiers, Clarksville Housing Authority, Mama’s Southern Soul Food & Catering, and Friendly Reminders.
