Annual Lyon County Between the Rivers Homecoming at Land Between the Lakes

Land Between the Lakes - LBLGolden Pond, KY – Former residents of the Lyon County, Kentucky portion of Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area will gather for their annual Homecoming on Saturday, September 20th at Star Camp Picnic Area, on the northern portion of Land Between The Lakes.

All former residents, relatives, and friends are invited. Those attending should bring food, beverages, lawn chairs, and any other picnic or recreation items they wish.

Restrooms, picnic tables, and grills are provided. For more information on the Lyon County Between the Rivers Homecoming, contact Ms. Underhill at 270.388.0358.

Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area manages more than 170,000 acres in western Kentucky and Tennessee as part of the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Agriculture’s public lands program.

Land Between The Lakes offers outdoor recreation, lake access, land management, and environmental education to over 1.4 million visitors annually. The Friends of Land Between The Lakes works in partnership with the Forest Service providing program services, funds development, and volunteer support.
