Clarksville’s Riverfest volunteer prize winner announced by Clarksville Parks and Recreation

2014 RiverfestClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce the winners of the Riverfest volunteer prize.

The ROTC program at Austin Peay State University will be awarded the $500.00 cash prize for providing the highest number of volunteer hours served at the 2014 Riverfest celebration held September 5th and 6th at McGregor Park.

APSU’s ROTC cadets provided a collective total of 84.3 volunteer hours during the two-day festival.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation would like to thank all of the nonprofit organizations who volunteered at Riverfest 2014, helping make the festival such a success.

Other nonprofit groups included Flourishing Families, Helping Hands, Montgomery County Drug Court Program, Puzzles for Dreams, and Hilldale Kiwanis.
