Joining the Lady Govs for the competition will be the co-hosts Evansville and Southern Indiana along with Charleston.

The two-day tournament begins 2:00pm, Friday, utilizing the hidden dual format.

The Lady Govs kick off the tournament Friday playing singles against USI before concluding day one with doubles matches against Charleston and Evansville. The Lady Govs open with singles matches against Evansville and Charleston, Saturday, before concluding with double matches against USI.

Last weekend, the Lady Govs hosted the 2014 APSU Fall tournament at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts.  The Lady Govs were hampered all weekend by various injuries, competing the entire second day with only two healthy players. Senior Jovana Karac claimed three victories over the course of the weekend and sophomore Hannah Tatlock played well against higher-level opposition.

“Both Jovana and Hannah were very impressive last weekend,” said head coach Ross Brown.  “They both stepped up under very difficult circumstances. Once again this weekend it’s going to be a lot of tennis in a little time, but we will be starting the tournament with five players.”

After completing the UE/USI Fall Invite, the Lady Govs will take a well-earned break from competition.  They will return to action October 18th, competing in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional held in Knoxville, Tennessee
