Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting October 24th, 2014

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOT

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that on Friday October 24th through Tuesday October 28th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be one lane closed in each direction on SR 76 (US 79), from MM 12 to MM 13.1, (Dover Crossing at Barge Point Road) in order to pave and stripe the roadway.  

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

On Friday October 24th through Wednesday October 29th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

On Friday October 24th through Wednesday October 29th, 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

On Monday October 27th through Wednesday October 29th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Friday October 24th through Wednesday October 29th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations on I-40 between Demonbreun Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard for drain inspection. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Friday October 24th, 2014 through Wednesday April 29th, 2015,bat 6:30am, the on-ramp to I-40 westbound from Charlotte Avenue (downtown) will be closed for 5-10 minutes for blasting operations in the area. This will occur weekly, Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

On Friday October 24th and Saturday October 25th, from 9:00pm-5:00am, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 in both directions, at MM 190.0, in order to remove existing bridge beams. Operation will occur in 30 minute intervals. Troopers will be utilized.

Humphreys County

On Monday October 27th through Thursday October 30th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be a lane closure on SR 1 in each direction at MM 13 in order for Humphreys County Maintenance to repair bridge drains. One lane will remain open at all times.

Robertson County

On Friday October 24th through Tuesday October 28th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound, from MM 106.0 to MM 105.0, in order to mill, pave and stripe the roadway.
