Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – You can beat those holiday calories this year, but you’d better hurry! The Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, is offering a second session of its Fun Interval Training (F.I.T.) program that will kick off on November 3rd and continue through January 15th.

Classes will meet daily, Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Exercises will focus on a different muscle group depending on the day. The class will take a break from December 22nd through January 2nd for the holidays.

Fun Interval Training (F.I.T.) class

The cost of the entire eight week cycle is $65.00.

Register today by visiting recpro.cityofclarksville.com and selecting “Instructional Classes, Lessons, and Camps” from the left-hand tab. From there, select the Kleeman Center tab and register from your very own home!

Registration is also available at all three community centers or our Main Office, located at 102 Public Square.

The F.I.T. Program was created to build the average person into a healthier and fit person. Participants in the first session have enjoyed working with our Master Fitness Trainer, Joe Hart. “I’ve tried several work-out classes, but the F.I.T. class I just completed at the Kleeman Center was by far the best!” says participant, Kathy Gray. “Trainer Joe Hart was awesome and worked with the students on their individual fitness levels, making it both fun and challenging. I got great results and will definitely sign up for his next class!”

The program brings this concept to the forefront by teaching the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The program has three levels depending on the goal of the participant. They can either build endurance, increase muscle mass or do cardio to lose weight.
