About the G.R.E.A.T. Program

The G.R.E.A.T. program is designed to encourage youth to make good, healthy choices, to avoid gangs and violence, and how to deal with bullying. Officer Granderson is the G.R.E.A.T. instructor for all of our fifth-grade elementary schools in the city, county, and private school sectors.

His motto is, “Unhealthy Choices Make Us Weak and Healthy Choices Make Us Strong!” He uses the curriculum provided by G.R.E.A.T. along with visual motivation by demonstrating feats of power and strength to inspire the youth.

The feats include ripping phone books in half, bending steel bars, tearing license plates, and various other feats.
