Clarksville Police reports Shots Fired on Donna Drive leaving One Injured; Public Assistance Requested

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On November 25th, 2014 at 9:31pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to an Aggravated Assault at the 400 block of Donna Court.

There were shots fired into a vehicle and one of the shots struck the driver, victim 1. The passenger, victim 2, stated that he and victim 1 had just left the BP Gas Station on Lafayette Road and traveled to the area of Woodale Drive.

As they were traveling down Woodale Drive towards Donna Drive they noticed a vehicle approaching them from the rear.

Victim 2 stated when they reached the stop sign at the intersection of Woodale Drive and Donna Drive he thought that the other vehicle was going to crash into their vehicle; however, the vehicle swerved and pulled up beside them.

After the vehicle had pulled up next to him, victim 2 stated he heard eight (8) gunshots come from the vehicle beside them. After the shots, the vehicle left at a high rate of speed turning left onto Donna Drive.

Victim 2 advised he did not know the vehicle he was in had been shot until victim 1 stated he had been shot. Victim 2 stated victim 1 drove to a residence on the 400 block of Donna Court where they knocked on the door and had the resident call 911 for them. Victim 1 confirmed victim 2’s story.

Neither victim could give a detailed description of the vehicle that shot at them. They could only advise that the suspect’s vehicle was a dark colored four (4) door car. They also could not tell how many occupants were in the vehicle.

Victim 1 suffered a shot to the bottom left side of his back and was transported to Gateway Medical Center for treatment. Victim 1 was later transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center. At the time he was transported, victim 1 was in a stable condition for further treatment. Victim 2 had no injuries.

There are no suspects at this time.
