Clarksville Department of Parks and Recreation Facilities’ Hours to Change in Observance of upcoming Holidays

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s three community centers will adjust their hours of operation this December to accommodate students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and their holiday schedule.

The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb Centers will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm beginning Friday, December 19th and ending Friday, January 2nd, 2015 as students will be out of school for the holiday break.

However, Centers will be closed Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25 in observance of Christmas as well as Thursday, January 1st in observance of New Year’s Day.

The Indoor Aquatic Center at New Providence, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will be open from 6:30am to 8:00pm December 22nd-23rd, December 29th-31st, and January 1st, 2nd, and 5th, 2015. The inflatable obstacle course, “The Aqua Run Wibit,” and the “AquaClimb” climbing wall will be available on both days.

Wristbands are required for access to these features. Cost of wristbands is $2.00 for all day access, with the exception of “Wibit Wednesdays” in which access is free each Wednesday. Tuesdays are “Dollar Day” at the pool when patrons are charged only $1.00 for admission. The pool will be closed Wednesday, December 24th through Friday, December 26th in observance of Christmas.

Additionally the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office and the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center will be closed December 24th-26th in observance of Christmas.
