Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Murray State remained undefeated in Ohio Valley Conference play and ran its winning streak to 19 games as it held off a couple Austin Peay State University second-half surges to claim an 82-72 victory, Saturday night, in Dave Aaron Arena.

In doubles action, Austin Peay (0-5) the doubles pairing of senior Ornella Di Salvo and sophomore Hannah Tatlock dropped a 6-1 decision to the team Emilia Granstrom and Andreanna Christopoulou at the No. 1 position.

Clarksville Police have arrested Cornell Hurley for shooting death at The Lodge Sports Pub

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, February 6th, 2015, Clarksville Police responded to shots fired at The Lodge Sports Pub at 11:53pm. One person was deceased and two others were injured in the incident.

The investigation into the shooting death of Terence D. Harwell has led to the arrest of 25 year old Cornell Hurley of Clarksville.

Clarksville Police issue update on Fatality Accident on Old Farmers Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a two-vehicle crash this Saturday morning, February 7th at 9:09am at the intersection of Highway 76 and Old Farmers Road. Both vehicles came to rest down an embankment off the roadway.

It appears from the initial investigation that a 2001 Cadillac Eldorado driven by Mattie Hand, 86 years old from Adams, TN, was traveling southbound on Old Farmers Road.

In Tennessee, currently one-fifth (twenty per cent) of adults do not have a high school diploma. I suspect that many of these people also have difficulty reading, whether from a learning disability or from not being able to attend school on a regular basis.

Clarksville Police release victims names from shooting at The Lodge Sports Pub

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On February 6th, 2015 at approximately 11:53pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at “The Lodge Sports Pub”, located at 3025 Mr. C Drive.  When they arrived they found three individuals who had suffered gunshot wounds.

The victims, 21 year old Kody McKinley and 22 year old Raefeal Roundtree were transported to Gateway Regional Medical Center for treatment.
