Clarksville Police issue update on Fatality Accident on Old Farmers Road

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a two-vehicle crash this Saturday morning, February 7th at 9:09am at the intersection of Highway 76 and Old Farmers Road. Both vehicles came to rest down an embankment off the roadway.

It appears from the initial investigation that a 2001 Cadillac Eldorado driven by Mattie Hand, 86 years old from Adams, TN, was traveling southbound on Old Farmers Road.

A 2010 Ford Ranger pickup driven by Donald Davidson, 82 years old from Clarksville, was traveling eastbound on Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway (State Highway 76).

Ms. Hand sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at Gateway Medical Center.

Mr. Davidson had serious injuries, but is in stable condition. Mr. Davidson was transported to Gateway Medical Center. No charges will be issued.
