The Clarksville Tennessee native averaged 28.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.0 steals in two games for the Lady Govs last week, including a 31-point, nine-board, six-steal effort against Eastern Illinois that led the Govs to an 83-72 win and the season sweep against the Panthers.

Gray’s percentage numbers were solid across the board as well, as she hit 57.6 percent (19-for-33) from the floor, 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from three-point range and 70.6 percent (12-for-17) from the free-throw line. Her steal numbers boosted her season average to 3.62 per game, tops in the OVC and second nationally behind only Weber State’s Regina Okoye (3.92 spg).

After her 25-point effort Saturday at UT Martin, Gray now has 535 points this season, the seventh-best single-season mark in school history and second-best among juniors, behind only current assistant coach Brooke Armistead‘s 2001-02 total of 687. Her 94 steals are already a school single-season record, and her 154 assists in 2014-15 ranks fourth in APSU history.

The honor is Gray’s second weekly award from the conference in 2014-15 – she also won for the week of December 23rd, 2014. Gray also was awarded CollegeSportsMadness.com’s weekly OVC honor this week as well.
