Clarksville Parks and Recreation reschedules 50k Tree Day

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s 50K Tree Day event, originally scheduled for Saturday, February 21st, will now take place on Saturday, March 14th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Billy Dunlop Park and Valley Brook Park.

50K Tree Day! Help Us Plant 50,000 Trees in One Hour Across Tennessee

Join hundreds of volunteers across all 95 counties in Tennessee as well as statewide groups including Tennessee Stormwater Association and the Tennessee Environmental Council, to plant 50,000 native bare-root seedlings in one hour!

If you’ve never planted a tree before, it’s easy, and we’ll show you how.
