APSU Governors Basketball ends season at Southeast Missouri Redhawks

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUCape Girardeau, MO – Austin Peay will close out the 2014-15 season when it travels to Southeast Missouri for a 6:00pm, Saturday, Ohio Valley Conference contest at the Show Me Center.

The contest will have little on the line for both teams. The Governors were eliminated from the OVC tourney race a week ago and SEMO earned the final spot in the OVC tournament, Thursday, without even playing.

Clarksville Police Department continues Counterfeit Money Investigation, Asks Public Assistance

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Dennis Honholt has been busy with the Counterfeit Money Investigation. He has arrested Howard Johnson, who is out on bond at this time. Also, he has active warrants on Laquinton Tillman, Dante Morrison and Tremond Lenor for multiple counts of Criminal Simulation.

Detective Honholt states that, though these men are tied to the majority of these cases, there are possibly more individuals involved that have not been identified yet. He continued to say that he has encountered counterfeit currency in ones, fives, tens, twenties, fifties and hundreds.

It is phenomenal to have Brownlee in Clarksville between engagements in Europe, the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall. He is the most in-demand American tenor in the world singing the bel canto repertoire. Brownlee sings with “elegance and grace” and has a voice that has been described as astonishingly beautiful and powerful.

Austin Peay State University Baseball makes changes to weekend series against Western Michigan

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Due to cold temperatures, Friday, Austin Peay State University’s baseball team has modified this weekend’s three-game series against Western Michigan.

The teams now will play a doubleheader beginning at 11:00am, Saturday, followed by a single 11:00am, Sunday contest to complete the three-game set.

APSU’s 2015 Unity Celebration to have host of ABC’s “What Would You Do” John Quiñones speak March 4th

 

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Jackie Quaid, a notorious jewelry thief, showed up in a Springfield, Missouri, pawn shop last summer, looking to unload a few rings and necklaces. Minutes before she arrived, a law enforcement officer had stopped by the store to show customers her picture on a wanted poster.

When the blond crook stepped into the shop that afternoon, several people did a double take.
