With Austin Peay needing a win on the final day of the regular season to secure the No. 7 seed in the upcoming OVC Tournament, Gray turned in one of the best performances of her junior season, scoring a game-high 36 points to go with six steals to help Austin Peay to a come-from-behind 72-67 win at Southeast Missouri, Saturday.

With her second 30-point game in a row and eighth of the season, Gray’s scoring barrage will go down as one of the greatest in Austin Peay history. For perspective, Brooke Armistead – Austin Peay’s all-time scoring leader – had 11 30-point games for her entire Lady Gov career.

Gray’s six steals pushed her average to 3.76 for the season, taking the national lead in that category from Weber State’s Regina Okoye (3.67 spg). Gray’s 109 steals for the 2014-15 season ranks third all-time in OVC history.

This Gray’s third weekly award from the OVC in 2014-15 – she previously won for the week of December 23rd, 2014 and February 17th, 2015. Gray also was tabbed as CollegeSportsMadness.com OVC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after her performance at Southeast Missouri.
