Nashville Zoo to hold Egg Hunts Saturday, April 4th

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Families from all over Middle Tennessee will be hopping to Nashville Zoo for the 17th annual Eggstravaganzoo. The spring festival that boasts the largest egg hunts in town is set for Saturday, April 4th, 9:00am – 4:00pm.

During Eggstravaganzoo, kids can partake in one of ten scheduled egg hunts held throughout the day on the Festival Field.

New to Eggstravaganzoo this year is Twiga’s Sweet Stroll, a candy-themed wonderland with edible bubbles, photo opportunities and large-scale candy structures. Other activities throughout the day include a Zoo-wide hunt for golden eggs, animal egg hunts, bounce houses and face painting.

2015 Festival Field Egg Hunt Schedule:

  • Ages 2 & under: 10:00am and 12:30pm.
  • 3 year olds: 10:30am and 1:00pm.
  • 4 – 5 year olds: 11:00am and 1:30pm.
  • 6 – 7 year olds: 11:30am and 2:00pm.
  • 8 – 10 year olds: Noon and 2:30pm.

Visitors looking to make the most of their Eggstravaganzoo experience can reserve a spot at Bunny Café, a unique breakfast and lunch opportunity offering views of the egg hunt field and up-close visits with the Easter Bunny. Reservations are required and can be made on the Zoo’s website.

Eggstravaganzoo is included with Zoo admission or membership. Additional event fees apply for Bunny Café and face painting.
