Clarksville Montgomery County area TDOT Maintenance Work starting March 13th, 2015

Tennessee Department of Transportation - TDOT

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports Saturday March 14th, 7:00am-12:00noon, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 westbound, between MM 11 and MM 8, in order to move equipment and material across the interstate.

This is part of the bridge replacement project over Interstate 24 (Exit 8) on State Route 237.

Lane Closure

On Monday March 16th and Tuesday March 17th, from 8:00am-4:00pm, there will be one lane closed on SR 12 (Riverside Drive) in both directions at the railroad bridge in order to take down work platforms attached to the bridge.

TDOT Maintenance: Middle Tennessee

Friday March 13th through Wednesday March 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

On Friday March 13th through Wednesday March 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed:

  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River
From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

Davidson County

On Friday March 13th through Wednesday March 18th, from 8:00pm-5:00am, there will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

On Monday March 16th through Wednesday March 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between MM 196 (US-70S/ SR 1) and MM 205 (51st Avenue/ 46th Ave) for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.

On Monday March 16th through Wednesday March 18th, from 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions, between MM 32 (Cheatham-Davidson County line) and MM 40.5 (SR 45/ Old Hickory Boulevard) for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.
