Jerri Bragg will continue to be a part of the girls basketball program and team serving in the capacity of Assistant Coach.  Bragg will also continue to be the Head Cross Country Coach.

Clarksville Police arrest driver of Vehicle involved in Collision on Highway 76

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On March 16th, 2015, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a vehicle collision on the eastbound side of Highway 76 (Martin Luther King Jr Parkway) in between the cross streets of Bellshire Drive and Red Coat Run. A vehicle and a motorcycle collided. The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to injuries.

72-year-old Herbert Hensley from Exxex, MD, the driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcycle, was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Reckless Homicide. There is no further information at this time.

Clarksville Police release name of deceased in Highway 76 Vehicle Accident

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, March 16th, 2015, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a vehicle collision on the eastbound side of Highway 76 (Martin Luther King Jr Parkway) in between the cross streets of Bellshire Drive and Red Coat Run. A vehicle and a motorcycle collided.

The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The deceased motorcycle driver was 59-year-old Bruce Best. His wife, 52-year-old Lisa Best, is in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They are from Dickson, TN.

Clarksville Police Department’s TEEN Citizens Police Academy applications now available

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Applications are available for the upcoming TEEN Citizens Police Academy (TCPA) class. The class will start on July 27th, 2015 and end on July 31st, 2015 (Monday to Friday).

Classes are from 9:00am to 2:30pm. Candidates must be in the 7th grade thru Senior in High School.

The TCPA is a one week program that covers Police/TEEN specific subject matter, such as; school violence/bullying, crime scene information, use of force information (Taser), the Explorer Program, BOMB Squad, jail, 911 operations, TACT team, K-9 information, traffic crash information, and more. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Gas and Water reports Rossview Road Water Outage

 

Tuesday, March 17th, 2015

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Rossview Road from Neil Ross Road to Rollow Lane to repair a water main leak. Area residents may also experience low water pressure during the work.

The repair is anticipated to be finished by approximately 6:00pm.

The road is open to traffic.
