Clarksville Park and Recreation’s “Wettest Egg Hunts” spots are filling up fast

Indoor Aquatic Center - New ProvidenceClarksville, TN – A not-so-typical egg hunt will once again be hosted at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

On Saturday, March 28th, thousands of colored eggs will be floating or sunk in the center’s pools, each good for candy and prizes. An adaptive egg hunt will be offered for children and adults with special needs at 11:00am with the remaining hunts for children ages 1 to 11 following from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

2015 Wettest Egg Hunt

To help families as they plan to attend the Wettest Egg Hunts, the schedule of the day is as follows:

  • 11:00am: Special Needs Children and Adults Only
  • 1:00pm: Ages 1-2, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11
  • 2:00pm: Ages 3-4, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11
  • 2:45pm – 4:45pm: Open Swim for those registered
  • 5:15pm: Ages 1-2, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11
  • 6:15pm: Ages 3-4, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-11

Cost to attend is $3.00 per hunter and will include a visit from the Easter Bunny and activities such as egg coloring, face painting, and a giant inflatable side! There will also be drawings for prize baskets and a hockey puck signed by the Nashville Predators’ Mike Fisher!

Pre-registration for the Wettest Egg Hunts is required and can be completed online beginning March 1st. A link to the online registration portal can be found at www.cityofclarksville.com/wettestegghunt
