The rain-soaked course played long as the Lady Govs shot a 320. Host and winner Eastern Kentucky won at 15-over part with 303. The tourney, originally scheduled for 54 holes, was reduced to 18 when Friday’s 36-hole day was rained out.

The good news for the Lady Govs was they were tied for third in pars with 49. The bad news was they were last in birdies with just two during the day.

Freshman AnnaMichelle Moore, who had the second most pars (13) on the day, led the Lady Govs with a 78 while sophomore Morgan Gardner, who played the par 3s at even par, followed with a 79. Morgan Kauffman shot an 81 while Jessica Cathey had an 82.

It was the first time this season—fall and spring—where Cathey did not own APSU’s low score. Anna Pope had an 87 while fellow freshman Sarah Struble, playing as an individual, had an 86.
