APSU Governors Football hold Clinic at Fort Campbell Kentucky

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUFort Campbell, KY – Austin Peay State University football team hosted a kid’s clinic at Fort Campbell’s Fryar Stadium, Friday, before participating in its final walk-through ahead of Saturday’s annual Red-and-White Spring Game, set for an 11:00am start at Governors Stadium.

Nearly 80 kids showed up for the free, hour-long clinic, with Governor players and coaches providing instruction and drills for quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, linebackers and defensive backs.

Afterward, Austin Peay spent 45 minutes making final preparations for Saturday’s Spring Game, set to be a 45-play affair, on the field at Fryar Stadium – site of the 2014 edition of the Spring Game.

Fans are invited to attend the Spring Game, with free 2015 football schedule posters for all in attendance. Concessions will be available inside the stadium and afterward fans are invited to join the Governors players and staff for a postgame tailgate sponsored by the Governors Club in the Foy Center parking lot.

Austin Peay’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) also will be sponsoring a tailgate for the entire student body after the Spring Game.
