Nashville Sounds begin Eight Game homestand at First Tennessee Park Monday, May 4th

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds return to First Tennessee Park on Monday, May 4th to face off against the Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Cubs) and Round Rock Express (Triple-A Rangers) in a pair of four-game sets.

The homestand will include the AASC Peanut Free Night, a Sounds Calendar giveaway, Fox 17 Friday Night Fireworks and more. Beginning this homestand, gates for Sounds games will open 60 minutes prior to game time (previously 90 minutes).

Monday, May 4th

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

Social Media Monday: Follow the Sounds on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to score specials on merchandise, tickets and in-game contests.

Military Discount: Active and veteran military men, women and families can purchase tickets as low as $6.00 in select seating areas with a valid military I.D.

AASC Peanut Free Night: Enjoy America’s national pastime without worrying about your allergies; no peanuts will be sold during the game on Peanut Free Night presented by Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center.

Tuesday, May 5th

7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

T-Shirt Tuesday: Tuesdays are all about t-shirts at First Tennessee Park. The first 2,000 fans will receive a t-shirt with a Cinco de Mayo theme presented by Advanced Financial.

Wednesday, May 6th

Kroger Plus Wednesday: The Sounds and Kroger are teaming up to offer fans the chance to purchase a “Family 4-Pack” of four (4) Bullpen section tickets for $36.00 when they show their Kroger Plus Card and purchase tickets at participating Kroger Ticketmaster outlets

Senior Discount: All seniors over the age of 60 can purchase tickets in selected areas for $8.00 presented by Hippie Radio 94.5. Limit one ticket per I.D.

Thursday, May 7th

Nashville Sounds vs. Iowa Cubs

Throwback Thursday: Everyone’s favorite day is back! Every Thursday the Sounds are reaching back into the rich baseball history at Sulphur Dell to honor the 1940 Nashville Vols as this season’s uniform style.

Fans are also able to purchase select beer and soft drinks for $2.00 all night presented by iHeart Media.

Friday, May 8th

Nashville Sounds vs. Round Rock Express
7:05pm (Gates Open at 6:05pm)

Fox 17 Friday Night Fireworks: After the final out is recorded, the fun has just begun. Following the game, fans will enjoy the third of 13 firework shows presented by Fox 17.

Sounds Calendar Giveaway: Be one of the first 5,000 fans at First Tennessee Park and spend the next 12 months with a Nashville Sounds calendar.

Saturday, May 9th

Nashville Sounds vs. Round Rock Express
6:35pm (Gates Open at 5:35pm)

The Sounds and Express clash on Saturday night for the second game of the series

Sunday, May 10th

Autograph Day: Fans can stop by the First Tennessee Park concourse before the game to snap a picture and grab an autograph from their favorite Sounds players.

Mother’s Day: Spend this special day at the ballpark, as Gildan will be on hand to pamper moms all game long.

Piedmont Natural Gas Military Sunday: The Sounds will don camouflage jerseys every Sunday home game and offer special military discounts for Military Sundays presented by Tennessee 811 and WSMV Channel 4. Active and veteran military men, women and families can purchase tickets as low as $6 in select seating areas with a valid military I.D.

Kids Run The Bases: Kids 12 and under can take a lap around the bases following every Sunday game at First Tennessee Park.

After the homestand, the Sounds head to Iowa to play the Cubs at Principal Park. They arrive back at First Tennessee Park directly after the series to play four games against the New Orleans Zephyrs (Triple-A Marlins) from May 16th-19th.
