Last season, Austin Peay was 4-13-1, with reigning second-team All-OVC pick Gina Fabbro scoring seven of the team’s 19 goals.

Despite the loss of two seniors – Frankie Carbajal and Claire Pultz – the Lady Govs will carry a blend of experience and youth when they take the pitch this fall. Four soon-to-be seniors will return in 2015, while four freshmen who played over 1,000 minutes a year ago make up a young core of players.

Two home exhibition games against Indiana State (August 11th) and Evansville (August 15th) will prepare the Lady Govs before a string of eight non-conference matches begins. For the first time since 2008, Austin Peay will open the regular season on its home turf as UAB travels to Clarksville for an August 21st contest. Rounding out the month are away Sunday contests at Chattanooga (August 23rd) and SEC foe Ole Miss (August 30th).

Austin Peay will participate in the South Alabama Tournament from September 4th-6th, taking on Troy and South Alabama, before three consecutive home games. The Lady Govs will play host to Western Illinois (September 11th), Kennesaw State (September 18th), and Alabama State (September 20th) prior to OVC competition.

For the second year in a row, Austin Peay will meet Eastern Kentucky to begin the OVC slate on September 27th, whom the Lady Govs defeated 3-1 last season as Gina Fabbro scored two goals. A return to Morgan Brothers Field awaits the following month, with two home matches against Southeast Missouri (October 2nd) and UT Martin (October 4th) headlining the weekend.

The Lady Govs will depart on a three-match road trip beginning on October 9th at Jacksonville State, followed by two in-state stops at Belmont (October 11th) and Tennessee Tech (October 16th).

Three of Austin Peay’s final four matches will be played at home. Following a contest against Morehead State (October 18th), senior weekend begins. After a meeting with Eastern Illinois under the lights on October 23rd, the home portion of the schedule concludes on Sunday, October 25th against defending OVC Tournament champion SIU Edwardsville. The regular season ends with a rivalry game at Murray State on October 29th.
