Beachaven Winery’s Jazz on the Lawn kicked off Saturday in a big way

Beachaven WineryClarksville, TN – Hundreds of people descended on Beachaven Vineyard and Winery Saturday, May 9th, for the first concert of the Jazz on the Lawn season. Chairs and blankets filled the lawn as everyone got ready to spend quality time with friends and family.

“There’s a huge crowd already and the music hasn’t even started,” said Louisa Cooke. “It’s a wonderful night and were glad it’s already jazz season again.”

Saturday’s concert featured the Bicho Brothers Band. This classic rock band played tunes from the Eagles, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, the Rolling Stones, etc. As the music began, some got up and danced, others kicked back to enjoy the evening.

Many brought food to enjoy like chicken wraps and fruits to go along with their wine.

Everyone had a good time and it’s easy to see how much the Jazz on the Lawn concerts have become a part of the community. Beachaven Vineyard and Winery opened their arms to the community, and it is clear that the community has embrace them back.

The next Jazz on the Lawn concert is Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 and features Roux Du Bayou a Cajun band. It is also the first themed event. To go along with the music, it will be a Mardi Gras theme.

Themed concerts will have a costume contest throughout the evening. The Jazz Prize Patrol will be awarding prizes to those who have demonstrated a serious effort to comply with the theme of the night.

As always, Jazz on the Lawn offers free admission with free parking.
