The theft charge stemmed from a stolen, loaded nine millimeter pistol.

All of the contraband was found in a hidden compartment within reach of the driver.

Charges against Marbury are pending for his involvement in the shooting incident on Peachers Mill Road on Tuesday night. Officers and detectives worked diligently throughout the day yesterday to build the case, which was hampered by a lack of cooperation from the involved parties.

In spite of the refusal of numerous people to provide information, they developed several leads that lead to this arrest. The investigation is ongoing and active with agents from CPD Special Operations Unit working closely with detectives from Districts One and Two to advance this case.

Clarksville Police Chief Al Ansley stated, “This just another example of the excellent work our officers do to aggressively seek out the violent criminals in our community.”

CPD released a video from a local business security camera that caught much of the Tuesday night shooting.
