APSU Governors Baseball games today vs. Evansville Purple Aces canceled; season ends

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Today’s Austin Peay State University baseball games against Evansville have been canceled due to heavy rain at Raymond C. Hand Park and will not be rescheduled.

Following the cancellation, Austin Peay (15-15 OVC record) found out it would not qualify for the upcoming OVC Baseball Championship, falling one-half game shy of fifth and sixth place held by Jacksonville State and Belmont, respectively, with identical 15-14 marks.

Southeast Missouri won the regular-season title with a 22-8 league mark.
