Clarksville Police requests public help finding Summit Heights Shooting Suspect Darcell Wright

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On May 22nd, 2015 at 3:34pm, two Clarksville Police patrol units were dispatched to a reported shooting in the Summit Heights neighborhood at 3:34pm. Officers discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds and a white SUV with bullet damage at the Summit Heights exit onto Paradise Hill Road.

CPD Detective Kenny Bradley is requesting public assistance in locating the Summit Heights Shooting Suspect. A Criminal Attempted Homicide Warrant is active on 21-year-old Darcell Dominque Wright from Clarksville.

He is a black male with a height of 6’0 and a weight of 200lbs. It’s possible that he could be traveling in a gray Chevy Malibu with a Virginia tag.

Wright hangs out in Summit Heights near Building 17, mostly by the back doors. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Victims Update

Dshawn R. Blount is recovering from his gunshot wounds and still at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The two children that were in Blount’s vehicle when he was shot are safe and uninjured.
